This Conditioner bar is uniquely formulated to leave no nasty residue on the hair unlike traditional wheat and silk protein bars

We chose this ingredient for our conditoner bar over regular silk peptides, not just because we are 100% vegan, but also because traditional methods of silk production are not sustainable by today’s standards. The bugs used to produce regular silk require a lot of feeding! Hence 150kg of raw materials (like mulberry leaves favoured by silkworms) are needed to produce just 1kg of silk.

Produced via a process of fermenting plant starch, our vegan silk proteins have been clinically proven to not only repair fragile or damaged hair strands, but also protect the hair and scalp from harmful pollutants as well as bacterial adhesion.

They are non-occlusive, which means they allow the hair and scalp to breathe, rather than weighing it down in the way their synthetic counterparts like silicones do. They have also been scientifically proven to remove 71% of PM2.5 carbon particles (pollution) from the hair and scalp after a simple water rinsing.

They also work to protect (by more than 35%) against the effects of pollution, irritants and bacteria, all of which are known to compromise the hair’s condition, as well as fade coloured hair. This isn’t an ingredient you’ll find in many contemporary Conditioners, so we’re very proud to have incorporated this hero ingredient into our formulas. Applying your conditioner bar to your hair 

1. After shampooing your hair ( for best results use our shampoo bars), wet your hair thoroughly - as our conditioner bar lacks water (a key ingredient for hydration), it’s important to ensure your hair is wet so you get enough product payoff. 
2. Wet the Conditioner bar. 
3. Slide the Conditioner bar directly down your hair 4-5 times, focusing more product on the mid-lengths and ends where strands are usually drier. If you have oily hair, avoid applying any conditioner to your roots. 

Top tip: If your hair is thick, we recommend separating your hair into 2 or 4 easy to manage sections and applying the bar in the same way on each section, to ensure an even product distribution. 

1. Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to evenly distribute the conditioner through your hair. Leave for 1-2 minutes to work its magic, then rinse and feel the silky softness! 
2. Dry and style your hair as normal.

Should you apply the Conditioner bar to your roots and scalp? 

As a rule of thumb, conditioner is typically applied to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. If your hair is oily this may be the best application for you, but if your hair is super thick or curly you may want a little extra conditioning on the roots and scalp.  

If you are unsure, we recommend swiping from the ear line down and massaging into the hair. 

How long do you leave the conditioner on your hair for? 

1-2 minutes is enough time for your hair to absorb the delicious goodness of the conditioner, massage it in, comb it through to ensure that the product has been distributed evenly and rinse.  

You can use the same bar to treat your hair to a deeply nourishing hair mask or use it as a leave-in conditioner. 

Remember our Conditioner bar is super concentrated and very little goes a long way.
